Happy 10th Birthday Show Support!
On this fateful day 10 years ago, Show Support had its first gig in Martin Place and a legend was born. The industry yearned for a new standard of crew: experienced corporate professionals with a superior work ethic. Bookings came in even before the official launch.
Since then, we’ve worked over 37 000 gigs and 112 000 shifts, totalling nearly 600 000 hours onsite.
We’ve had close to 5000 crew on our books so far.
We routinely provide experienced crew for national tours in every capital city.
We’ve sourced crew in out-of-the-way-places as well, including: Albury, Hamilton Island, Cairns, Tamworth, Forster, Wingello, Bellarine, Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie, Bacchus Marsh, Lower MacDonald, Billinudgel, Alexandra Headland, Armidale, Mundingburra, Palmview, Mackay, Bargo, Batemans Bay, Bendigo, Gawler, Bomaderry, Caloundra, Brindabella, Milton, Pokolbin/Rothbury, Googong, Albury, Parkes, Port Douglas, Bateau Bay, Geraldton, Gladstone, Mudgee, Yepoon, Kooyong, Mallala, Marulan, Orange and Auckland, NZ.
Our in-house software, Personnel Manager, is now the preferred rostering system for many leading companies in the entertainment industry. Clients in the hospitality, security, cleaning, welfare, building and construction industries also benefit from this innovative brand.
The SHS office is open 24 hours a day, 365.25 days a year with true ‘follow the sun’ support.
None of this could have been possible without our 885 clients to whom we are profoundly grateful.
Coming out of the busiest January in our history, with a great year ahead, we invite you to celebrate the dawn of Show Support’s second decade of operation.
The first ten years has been a learning curve, enabling us to implement strategies to successfully source crew for the next century. With your help we intend to maintain our position as the nation’s premier crewing service, providing Professional Crew to the Entertainment Industry for our clients at home and abroad.
On behalf of all ‘Showies’, I thank you for your continued show of support and wish you all the very best.
Regards,
David Neil.
