Hi Show Support,

I was really impressed with the crew we had for the in and out of the recent Entech Roadshow, (Syd Concourse 10 Oct, Melb MCEC 12 Oct, Bris RICC 17Β Oct.)
3 semitrailers of gear to be unpacked and positioned for the 55 expo exhibitors in 5 hours, and then reversed at the end of the day.
The guys and girls were prompt, knowlegable and pro-active.

In Sydney, the team of 20 were superbly headed by St Ben on the Bump In and on the Bump Out by Richie.

I can’t remember the crew boss on the bumpin in Melb, but he was great, and Emma, in charge of the out, was cheerfully competent in keeping it all happening.

But the Brisbane guys were beyond brilliant!Β  Especially on the out – we had an hour less, due to the loading bay curfew –Β  … and, to top it off, we lost 20 minutes due to a problem with one of the semis.

Justin, Nathan and forklift operator Nick were just fantastic. Also a young woman – Clarise(?) was a quiet little powerhouse, always one step head with finding the correct packer and having it at the base of the ramp before I even called it.

Despite hiccups, we made the curfew – we closed the last semi door with literally 3minutes to spare.

Please pass on my appreciation to the teams on the Entech Roadshow jobs especially the Brisbane guys, and ESPECIALLY Nick the forklift driver, who went above and beyond, and at one stage during the bumpout, literally saved the day.

I have to write and say thanks for the crew which you supplied at short notice in Brisbane last week.Β I contacted the office at around 9.00pm on Tuesday night requiring crew for an 08.00am start on Wednesday morning and despite the short notice the 3 crew turned up on time, in uniform, with tools and a great attitude. To make sure that everything got off to a good start your crew chief Steve Voigt also came to siteΒ before heading off to check on another job.

The call involved setting up display stands and Brisbane was the last stop on a national tour so I had a lot of chances to learn how to setup the displays quickly and efficiently. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the show support crew setup the stands at least three times quicker than I had been able to do in other states.

The crew had obviously been thinking about how to make my life even easier for bump out as they arrived armed with their own ladder, packing tape, industrial cling wrap and 3 dollies. Needless to say this was above and beyond the call of duty but when I expressed my thanks I was told “that’s what Show Support do, we are here to help”.
Please pass my thanks on to Buddy, Steve, Mick, Steve and Babs, they made Kojo look great in front of our client and I look forward to working with Show Support again soon.
