Dear Showie,
This blog correspondence to SHS Supervisors illustrates the processes our illustrious managers in the field employ to report on the performance of Crew Members.
Crew Members who wish to riseΒ to the rank of industry-leading SHS Supervisor should pay close attention to the below, accept all shiftsΒ offered, comply with theΒ MPSΒ andΒ GP018Β and excel themselves by providing best-in-class customer service to our clients on every SHS shift.
To SHS Supervisors,
I want to thank you for your hard work and excellent management in the field on recent events for Show Support.
I especially want to thank all Crew Chiefs who have utilised the Day Sheet in their Crew Portals to submit reports on crew under their leadership.
As a reminder, the requirementsΒ for Crew Chiefs are outlined below:
DAY SHEET
The Day Sheet is key to communicating the performance of SHS Crew Members.
Star Ratings provided by SHS Crew Chiefs informs Ops on the suitability of Crew Members as much as their reliability, experience levels and acceptance rates.
As Managers in the field, you are well placed to rate the attitude and work ethic of the crew you work with. As such, the Day Sheet endows you with the ability to report outstanding, average and substandardΒ behaviour directly into the system.
Photographs submitted with the Day Sheets speak volumes on crew’s adherence to theΒ Minimum Presentation Standards. Many Day Sheet photos have been uploaded to the SHS Facebook Page and provideΒ a pictorial tribute to our experienced Crew Members.
The feedback / comments we receive about crew are especiallyΒ useful for matching the right crew to the right gigs.
Show Support MD Dave Neil reads Day Sheet submissions with keen interest and forwards them onto the relevant managers where appropriate. Cash bonuses have been paid to Crew Chiefs who have provided excellent feedback.
To summarise, a correctly submitted Day Sheet requires the following:
1. Correct Start / Finish Times and Breaks
2. Crew Photo
3. Client Sign Off
4. Star Ratings
5. Conditions
6. Feedback / Comments where required.
Melbourne Crew Chiefs are submitting excellent Day Sheet reports and we thank them along with SEC Max Dessmann and SFM Samuel Davis for their efforts.
Crew Chiefs in other SHS Sections have also been utilising the Day Sheet effectively, in many cases perfectly, and so gratitude is accorded to those Supervisors nationwide who have completed the Day Sheets according to requirements. SFM Ben Albrecht, FM August Papadimatos and SCC Wayne Milligan come to mind as do many others including SEC Kyle Preater.
The campaign from SHS Management to educate Supervisors on the requirement to complete Day Sheets seems to have resonated and your combined willingness to accept the challenge has been noted favourably.
On behalf of SHS Management, I would like to warmly thank the following SHS Supervisors for their cooperation as per the above. The list below is in order of Day Sheets received over the last 14 days.
